Zentangles Personified April 11th and 25th

This class is being offered by Nysha Nelson and will be held at his studio (please note the change in venue) so you may see his amazing display of zentangles already done.

Zentangle is a simple method for creating intricate patterns that are easy and can be meditative and increase focus. In the 17 months I have been using Zentangle as a daily practice I find that I am able to create work with more control than before and am more focused while working, all from making beautiful patterns on a three and a half inch squares of paper in just a few minutes!

Saturday, April 11
9:00 to 12:30 pm
Zentangle I — we will explore the simple and relaxing method of Zentangle. Using simple marks to create intricate patterns in a way that aids in focus and calm. In this class we will learn the basics of the Zentangle Method and begin a conversation about how it can impact calligraphy, letterforms and our work practice.
